Arthur Donovan, Jr. (natural June 5, 1925 in the Bronx, New York) is a previous American football defensive tackle. He is the boy of Arthur Donovan, a famous boxing referee, & a grandson of Professor Mike Donovan, the world middleweight boxing champion in the 1870's.

He spent foursome years inside armed services service by using a United States Marine Corps during WW II before playing college football at Boston College. He graduated around 1950.

He began swimming sales person football by having a Baltimore Colts around 1950, but that edition of the franchise folded. He moved to get a Future York Yanks around 1951; they became a Dallas Texans in 1952 and finally a Baltimore Colts in 1953. He became one of a stars around an great defense & was selected to 5 straight Pro Bowls for 1954 to 1958. A Colts won back to back championships within 1958 & 1959.

He was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968. He published an autobiography, "Fatso", inside 1987. He was noted as a jocund & humourous individual in the period of his swimming career & capitalized thereon by having television & speaking appearances fallowing retiring as a streaming video player. He owns & manages the united states club touching Baltimore.
